Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Volta do Mar in Knightsbridge is a mixed bag. On one hand, you've got Suraj running the show like a pro, making sure guests feel special. Then you've got dishes like the seafood rice that could knock your socks off, but don’t expect too much from the cauliflower starter; it’s like getting a sad, burnt stick on a plate. Overall, it's cozy with a decent vibe, but some dishes fall flat.
Given the location, the prices are surprisingly fair. You might find yourself loving the spring salad and the pork chop, but just know that it’s not all sunshine and rainbows here. If you're in the area, it’s worth a shot, but don’t come in expecting fireworks.
"Cosy atmosphere. Waiter/restaurant mngr Suraj had the flow and the service in control"
"Food is absolutely delicious, service was extremely good!"
"Highlight was the spring salad with asparagus, broad beans and peas, so fresh and delicate."
