Franzina Trattoria is a Brixton darling that feels like home—if home served up a mean tiramisu and orange gin cocktails. With a 5-star hygiene rating and a 4.5-star Google score, it’s the safe bet that keeps bringing people back for more. Dina Fakhar can’t get enough, and neither can Angela Peters, who found her dream meal in a cozy corner. The vibe is friendly, and you’re likely to get a warm hug from the owner if he’s around.
However, not all visits are sunshine and rainbows. A couple of diners have reported a drop in quality and service as well as dirty tables. Still, if you’re in the area, the food is worth the occasional hiccup. Come for the pasta, stay for the ambiance—just maybe don’t expect a flawless experience every time.
