Tier Achieved:
For the mildly adventurous. Non-zero chance of the 💩s.
Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Caffe Nero is the caffeine pitstop every student dreams of. Perfect for grabbing a quick coffee before you hunker down in the library. The pistachio croissants? They’re a revelation, as Jack Lin rightly points out. But let’s not get too carried away; their matcha game seems to have gone a bit downhill, according to Keerthana Syam, with some questionable green sediment lurking at the bottom. The staff, though? Always friendly and ready to chat about coffee options or help you find a seat by the window.
Sure, it’s cozy and a great atmosphere for both studying and socializing, but watch out for the food. Jennifer Dutton’s ham and mozzarella panini was dry enough to be used as a sandpaper substitute, while the rest of the menu might leave you feeling a tad uninspired. Still, if you’re in Leeds and need to fuel up, Caffe Nero’s not a bad choice, just don’t expect to be blown away. ☕️
"Nice place to take your coffee to go before heading to study."
"The new pistachio croissants are the best I ever had here!"
"Absolutely love this place! The coffee is always rich and smooth."
