The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Howdy is like that diner you drive past and think, ‘Eh, maybe next time,’ but you end up stopping anyway. It’s a halal family-friendly spot that’s got a decent American theme going on. Aminah raved about the hospitality, and Carla couldn’t get over how good the lamb chops were. The burgers and steaks also seem to hit the mark, although the service can sometimes feel like it’s in slow-mo.
Some patrons were let down by dry chicken and warmer-than-expected drinks. So, if you’re feeling adventurous, just keep your expectations in check and enjoy the atmosphere instead. It's a fuel-stop that serves its purpose, just don’t expect fireworks on your plate.
