Maypole Coffee Shop and Deli is the kind of place that makes you feel at home, minus the family drama. The sandwiches are crafted with love, and the gluten-free options for picky eaters deserve a round of applause. Susan Watson raved about their cold buffet for a birthday party, which included sandwiches, mini quiches, and their cakes that could make a grown man weep. Then there's Alison Gee, who claims their Bakewell tart is legendary and honestly, I’m tempted to try it myself.
The vibe here is simple, no frills, just good food, and genuinely friendly staff. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or feeding a small army, Maypole has got your back. Plus, the hygiene gets a solid five stars, which is more than I can say for some of my past food experiences.
