Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Oscars Cafe and Bar is the place to be in Morley if you fancy a cheeky pint or a high-end gin. The staff are a bunch of absolute legends, especially the beer-loving crew who can recommend the perfect cask ale from a menu that's probably more extensive than your last Tinder date's profile. Paul raves about how this bar has been a revelation since the new owner took over, while Callum can't get enough of their fantastic drink selection. Just know that it's tiny, so if you're planning a squad night out, get ready to squeeze in like sardines.
However, donβt get too comfy if itβs packed; the atmosphere can really dip when thereβs no room to breathe. John isn't a fan of the recent renovations and seems to think theyβve sucked the vibe out of the place. If you can snag a seat, though, Oscars is solid for a casual evening with friends, especially if you appreciate quality beer more than just getting hammered.
"A regular entry in the Good Beer Guide is totally justified for the quality of cask ale poured here."
"The best bar in Morley hands down."
"Good selection of drinks, friendly staff who had impeccable taste in music."
