The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
SALT Boston Spa, now possibly The Boston Tap, is a mixed bag serving hearty pies and ales, but don't expect fireworks. Iain and Gpt Security rave about the pie and mash combo, while Roy and Jacqueline enjoyed a lemonade experience that seemed almost magical. Still, not everyone is singing its praises – it’s a decent spot but might not leave you begging for more.
If you're just after a quick bite with some good beer, it's fine, but don’t expect a fine dining experience. It’s dog-friendly and has a nice outdoor space, which is a plus. So if you're in the area, pop in for a pint and a pie, just don’t set your expectations too high.
