The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Bothy Teahouse is a quaint pitstop after a nice walk, but it's not winning any culinary awards. The coffee is decent, and the blueberry muffin is soft and tasty, but it’s hard to shake the feeling that this place is just coasting by. The ambiance is pleasant enough, and the staff are friendly, which helps, but it’s more of a ‘let's grab a quick bite’ than a destination dining experience.
It has a nice view of the lake, and the layout is cozy, making it a decent option for a break. Just don’t expect anything too memorable. It’s got potential, but it’s not quite there yet.
