Toby Carvery—an institution for those craving comfort food, but don’t go expecting a Michelin star. Danny found the food fresh and quick, which is impressive for a Sunday roast. Gabriella’s experience was elevated by Erin, a waitress who’s basically the fairy godmother of carvery. Jake also seems like a legend, but not everyone has been as lucky. Derek and Adam had their fair share of disappointments, with gristly meats and wait times longer than a queue for the latest iPhone. Megan’s Santa experience was a holiday horror, and Emma's Yorkshire pudding could double as a frisbee.

It’s a mixed bag, really. If you’re after a no-frills roast and some decent service, this might scratch that itch, but keep your expectations in check.
