Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Chennai Bites is a daring little joint where the spice levels are high and the food is downright authentic. With a hygiene rating of 3, it’s like playing Russian roulette with your gut, but those who dare say it's worth it. The Mysore Masala Dosa is the stuff of legends, while the sambar alone is worth the trip. Just be ready for a bit of a crowd as this place gets packed faster than you can say ‘Idli’.
People leave raving about the flavors and fresh ingredients, but you might just find yourself crammed in tighter than sardines. If you’re brave enough for the adventure, go in expecting great food but maybe a side of chaos. For those who can handle it, it’s a foodie’s paradise. Just don’t blame me if your stomach has a little chat with you later.
"Must visit just for sambar alone."
"All freshly made, great service, friendly staff"
"Some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Leicester"
