🏠 Firle Place The Street, Firle, BN8 6LP
Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Firle Tea Rooms is a quaint little place, but let’s be real, it’s a mixed bag. The ambiance is pretty, set in a charming Georgian house, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. Angus was enchanted by the setting, calling it beautiful, but others found the slow service infuriating. The tea and cakes are nice, but if you’re looking for a seamless experience, you might be left wanting.
If you can overlook the hiccups, you might enjoy the lovely terrace and stunning views. Just be prepared for the possibility of waiting a bit longer for your order. It’s a cute spot for a lazy afternoon tea, but it’s not a well-oiled machine by any stretch.
"Beautiful Georgian house located in the Sussex countryside."
"The tea shop is great- with a sunny terrace overlooking the grounds."
"Superb tea room, excellent setting, polite and helpful service."
