MATOON THAI BISTRO

Matoon Thai Bistro is a cozy little spot in Forest Hill that seems to have it all figured out. Mel Saldana calls it a true gem, and it’s hard to argue when the food consistently comes out rich in flavor. Giovanni Bianco found the dishes to be very authentic, and Estelle was all about those piping hot spring rolls. There’s a good buzz about the place, and the staff are known for their warmth and friendliness.

However, not all reviews are glowing; J Curr had a less-than-stellar experience with a sad duck salad that left her feeling hungry for something better. While the overall atmosphere is inviting, it seems there’s room for improvement on certain dishes. Still, if you’re in the area, it’s worth a gander. Just don’t get too excited about that salad. 😕
