If you're looking for a clean gym to sweat it out, Pure Gym Limited is pristine, boasting a sparkling 5/5 hygiene rating. But while the weights are tidy, the same can't be said for the vibe. Some machines are perpetually out of order, and the air con seems to be on a permanent holiday. George Fenlon, the assistant manager, deserves a medal for keeping this place afloat amidst the chaos, while some members are seriously considering jumping ship. It’s a shame because the friendly staff and workout options could have made this a winner, but the state of the facilities? A bit of a letdown.
So, if you want to pump iron in a place that looks like it’s been cleaned by a slightly distracted raccoon, Pure Gym might be your jam. But if you value functional equipment and a fresh-smelling changing room, you might want to reconsider. Or just bring your own cleaning supplies. 🧼
