Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Vietrest is a Vietnamese haven that promises big flavors and hefty portions. Wenjia Tang was over the moon about their amazing dishes, and who wouldn’t be? Lucy Liu brought her daughter along and couldn’t get enough of the beef jerky mango salad and prawn summer rolls. The place has that authentic vibe that makes you feel like you’re in Vietnam, minus the airfare. Dath 1983 did a little side-eye at the chilliness of the restaurant, but hey, it’s London—who isn’t cold?
Despite minor hiccups with service, like waiting longer than expected, the food shines through. With tasty offerings like the rare beef pho and grill lemongrass pork vermicelli, you’ll find yourself coming back for more. Just bring a jumper if you get chilly, and make sure to leave room for leftovers because these portions are generous. Your taste buds will thank you. 🌿
