Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Baltic Bakehouse is like finding treasure in a local café. The twice-baked pistachio and almond pastry had Emma raving like it was her first love, and who could blame her? With Gary Usher at the helm, they’ve got the magic touch. The sourdough bacon butty made Gordon swoon, especially with that spicy tomato sauce. Seriously, it’s probably the best in Liverpool. Even coffee snobs are happy here, as Zehra found the cappuccino to be the best in town. Just remember to keep the door closed in winter, or you'll end up like a popsicle.
With a team as friendly as your favorite barista and bakes that will have you questioning your loyalty to your mom's recipes, Baltic Bakehouse is a must-visit if you’re feeling lucky. Just don’t go expecting a Michelin star; this place has some quirks, like a hygiene score that makes you think twice. But hey, fortune favors the bold, right?
"The cookie was unreal, and the twice baked pistachio and almond pastry was one of the best I’ve ever had!"
