Costa Coffee at Next is like that friend who’s always there when you need them—reliable but not exactly thrilling. It’s clean, it’s breezy, and the coffee is decent enough, but the atmosphere can feel a bit lifeless, especially when the staff are too busy chatting amongst themselves to notice you waiting. While the selection of cakes might tempt you into a sugar coma, the service isn’t always up to scratch. If you find yourself in dire need of caffeine during a shopping spree, it’ll do the job, but don’t expect to be wowed.
You might feel like you’re in a scene from a bad sitcom as you watch staff ignore tables piled high with dirty dishes. Still, it’s hard to complain too much when you’re just after a quick caffeine fix. So, come in, grab your drink, and head back to the real world—if you dare.
