For the kind of person who plays with fire, knowing they might get burnt.
Great food, dodgy kitchen. You know the risks. Pack Imodium and pray.
Welcome to Mei Mei, where the dim sum is as authentic as the service is questionable. Sure, the food had Edwin craving more, but the hygiene is a bit of a wild card with a 2/5 rating. The steamed rice with salted fish was a hit, but the θ Έη² rice rolls let him down harder than a sad breakup. Lisa Bowyer-Jones found the food fantastic but couldn't help but notice the service could use some serious polishing.
It's packed, which is a good sign, but that means you might need to battle through crowds just to place an order. Thereβs a vibe here thatβs frantically fun, but also makes you question whether it's worth the hassle. If you can deal with potential service hiccups for some good dim sum, then roll the dice here. Just don't expect a Michelin-star experience; it's more like dodgy takeout meets some delightful bites.
