Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Mr Zhang's Kitchen is like a culinary adventure waiting to happen, despite its middling hygiene score of 3/5. But, boy, do the reviews paint a tempting picture. Michael Darbyshire raves about the massive portion sizes, claiming the hot and sour soup could feed a small village. The menu is packed with unusual options, and Andy Roberts was pleasantly surprised to find a Chinese restaurant that actually serves authentic dishes. The hand-pulled noodles are a highlight, according to Kristian Brown, and if you're a fan of spicy food, you'll want to jump on the pork belly appetizer.
While the cleanliness might give you pause, the overwhelming praise for the food suggests it's worth the risk. Just stock up on hand sanitizer and dive into the platefuls of flavor. If youβre feeling brave, this could be your new favorite Chinese spot. πΆοΈπ
