For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Chozen is like that service station friend who surprises you with unexpectedly good food. The Thai green curry is a solid choice, and Abdullah knows how to serve it up right. You don’t walk in expecting fine dining, but hey, it’s better than your average McDonald’s pit stop. Ken and the crew seem to have cracked the code on decent service station chow, with folks raving about the flavors. You might even find yourself coming back for a second helping after trying the duck — but good luck getting it before noon, because it tends to disappear faster than your willpower at an all-you-can-eat buffet.
But let’s keep it real; it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. M M Malek had a run-in with some seriously questionable fish and chips, which sounded more like a horror story than a meal. Still, if you’re on the road and need to refuel, you could do worse than stopping here for a taste of the good stuff. ⛽🍜
