Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
BAB is a mixed bag of culinary adventures. You walk in thinking you’re on a grand lunch quest for £10, only to find yourself sipping on lukewarm flatbreads and wondering where the excitement went. The salads are fresh enough to keep your Instagram feed alive, but there’s a chance you might leave with a flatbread that’s drier than your aunt’s jokes at family gatherings.
The vibe is cozy, and the staff are friendly — shout out to Jason for making the service feel like a warm hug. But when your main dish is a chicken kebab that somehow manages to be cold, you might find yourself questioning your life choices. Still, if you aim for the salads and the lunch deal, you’ll probably leave feeling okay, even if your taste buds are a bit underwhelmed.
"I thought that sounded very inexpensive."
"Each dish was remarkably fresh."
"The hardest thing was choosing which main to go for."
