Ela's Cakes is what happens when a bakery does everything right. Gabrielle clearly knows her way around a whisk, as the baked goods here have people raving. With a 4.8-star rating, it’s a sweet haven for those with a serious sweet tooth. Marrianne Rose is all about those delicious products, and AM W declares their blondies as the best in Kent.

But not everything’s sunshine and sugar; Chloe Lloyd was left hanging when she found out they were closed on a Sunday. Major bummer. And Polly Yelding had a brownie mysteriously go AWOL from her order, with no response from the team. So while the treats may be fantastic, their communication could use a little icing on top. Overall, if you’re craving something sweet, this is your spot, just keep your expectations in check.
