Tai Won Mein is the kind of place you stumble upon and wonder how it has a hygiene rating of only 3/5. With a 4.3-star Google review, it's clearly got some fans, but it’s an adventure waiting to happen. The food can be hit or miss, but if you’re feeling daring, the spicy and salted squid is a knockout. Just be prepared for the occasional awkward service interaction—think gladiator battles when asking for water. It’s an experience, alright.
The portions are generous, and the prices are good, but there’s a nagging feeling that if you look too closely, you might want to run for the hills. Still, if you're craving Chinese and don’t mind rolling the dice on quality, this could be your new go-to. Just don’t expect a Michelin star, and you’ll be fine. 🍜🍽️
