Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Grounds Cafes is that cozy little spot you keep saying you'll visit, but somehow never get around to. The ambiance is charming enough, but if your idea of a bustling café involves more than three people, you might feel a bit lonely. The coffee is decent, but don't go in expecting a life-changing caffeine experience. Lee’s flat white might leave you wishing for a bit more oomph, and the peppermint tea could stand to wake up a bit.
But hey, it’s a nice pit stop if you've just strolled through the woods and need a breather. Staff like Preetjot and Carol keep the vibes friendly, and the home-baked cakes do seem to get some love. Just don't plan on a full-on food adventure here or you'll end up eating your own feelings in a very quiet corner.
"Very cosy atmosphere, and a lovely place to stop for a coffee."
"Lovely coffee and reasonably priced."
"Flat white flavour was OK but had too much water."
