John Lewis - Partners Restaurant is like that friend who always shows up late but still expects you to be thrilled about their arrival. Hygiene is spot-on, but when it comes to food, you might just be better off hitting up M&S next door. The menu is as exciting as watching paint dry, with a selection that would make even a starving student raise an eyebrow.
Sure, it’s clean and spacious, but the vibe is more sleepy staff room than gourmet getaway. The staff might be friendly, but they can’t make up for the lack of flavor. If you’re in the area and need to refuel, it’ll do, just don’t expect any culinary fireworks. Bring your own seasoning just in case.
