Tier Achieved:
Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
John Lewis - Place To Eat is basically your average food court with a hygiene rating that’s the only thing standing between you and food regret. The place is clean, but the food is just sad. Sure, there are cakes and pastries, but if you think you’re getting gourmet, think again. It’s like they took a few leftovers from the back and called it a menu.
The staff might be friendly, and Marco could charm the pants off you, but that doesn't make up for the lackluster food selection. It's a decent place to grab a coffee if you’re shopping but don’t expect it to blow your mind. It’s a pit stop for a caffeine fix, not a culinary destination. You’re better off getting your cake fix from M&S if you’re looking for something sweet.
"I was very impressed."
"Marco the Italian cutie served us and he was so sweet."
"Delicious food and excellent coffee."
