Popeyes is that crispy chicken joint where the service is just as saucy as the food. Adodoo couldn’t sing enough praises about Yamin, who clearly knows how to deliver a warm welcome and hot food. The fact that it’s a new opening in East Ham means they’re rolling out the red carpet for their customers, which is always nice to see. The joint is clean, and Marley Laurent appreciates the attentive staff, making it a cozy stop for chicken cravings.
However, with a Google rating of 4.3, it seems like they’re still working on hitting the right notes consistently. While the spicy chicken sandwich was a hit for Joseph, not everyone is sold on the food here yet. If you’re in the area and in the mood for some fried goodness, it’s worth a shot—but maybe avoid peak hours when chaos reigns.
