Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Riverside East is a mixed bag, really. One minute you’re enjoying a lovely roast with bottomless fizz, the next you’re wondering if the beef has been auditioning for a tough meat competition. Moni and Nick are lovely, though, keeping things afloat with their attentive service.
The roast chicken and Yorkshire puds are winners, but watch out for the vegan options that might leave you feeling like you’re just eating a sad plate of cauliflower. The ambiance is nice, but the food quality seems to fluctuate like the British weather.
If you fancy a casual meal with the family, it’s alright. Just don’t expect a Michelin star experience and you’ll be fine.
