The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Curiosity Cottage is like that mildly intriguing book you pick up but never finish. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chill, but if you came for mind-blowing food, you might end up disappointed. The baguettes get a thumbs up, while the cream teas are apparently life-changing for some.
Prices are decent for the area, but let’s face it, you’re not coming here for a culinary adventure. It’s a safe choice for a tea and a sit-down, especially if you fancy chatting with some sparrows, but it’s not going to be the highlight of your week.
