Masala Indian Restaurant & Takeaway is your standard curry house that’s somehow both beloved and a bit of a mixed bag. While Alan swears by the Amli dish and keema naan as the best Indian takeaway in North Devon, others like Nick were left feeling like they were eating Sainsbury’s leftovers. Claire's all about the Chicken Tikka and Garlic Rice, but you might get some soggy rice if you're unlucky like Emily. Staff seem friendly enough, but not every delivery is piping hot. So, if you're craving curry, just know you might get lucky or left wanting more.
Overall, Masala is a decent spot when the cravings hit, but don’t expect miracles. It’s like that friend who’s great at parties but not so much in group projects. Keep your expectations in check, and you might just enjoy it.
