Village Indiya is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've struck gold. Michelle has been back repeatedly, flaunting the warm welcome and delicious food, while Charlie Deelun calls it the best Indian restaurant in London. Yuri Hogg is in love with their take on traditional dishes, and he's not wrong—duck tenga and Gurka's revenge sound like culinary adventures worth embarking on. The vibe is lively and charming, but a few folks, like Omar Timberlake and Martin Reviews, found the flavors lacking a bit of punch. Still, if you're after good Indian food in a friendly spot, you could do a lot worse.
