Old Talbot is one of those places that shines on a midweek night when you’re just looking for a decent meal. Kirstie found it to be a cozy spot with great decor and even better food—especially the boneless mix grill that blew her away. It seems to be a favorite for a reason, with a menu full of delicious curries and Indian tapas that had Andrew raving. The vibe is relaxed, and the service was top-notch, with attentive staff making sure everyone had a good time.

But let’s not sugarcoat it; some folks like Surjit had a run-in with less-than-great service, which might leave a sour taste in your mouth. While the food is solid and the atmosphere is lovely, just be prepared for some service that could be more consistent.
