Spice Cottage is a mixed bag, like a surprise curry at a wedding. Jamal, the server, brings more entertainment than the food, making you chuckle while you wait for your meal. The mixed grill gets high marks, and the portions are generous, but the service? It's a rollercoaster. Sometimes it’s top-notch, sometimes it’s like herding cats. One minute you're giggling with Salik, the next you're cursing a burnt naan.
The food's decent, if a bit hit or miss. You're only half-tempted to come back for the quality, though the rude delivery lady might make you rethink that decision. They say you can’t have it all, and at Spice Cottage, that might just be the case. But hey, at least you can enjoy your meal with a side of comedy.
