Avon Valley Railway Catering is basically a quaint little spot where you can fuel up before or after your scenic train ride. Reviews are chock-full of praises for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, if you’re hoping for a Gordon Ramsay experience, brace yourself; this isn’t the Michelin star you were dreaming about. Ken loves the gentle bike rides, while Carlos seems to think breakfast is where it’s at. Just don’t expect world-class culinary magic here.
The ambiance is charming, and the idea of dining in an old train carriage is cute, but you might want to bring your own napkins if you’re dealing with a sticky table, as Vince discovered. Overall, it’s a decent pit stop, but don’t go in expecting culinary fireworks.
