Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.

The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.

Solid sandwiches, shady service. Bring hand sanitizer.

Chandos Deli has the potential to be your new lunch crush, but it’s like dating someone who still lives with their parents. The sandwiches? Absolutely banging, especially that salami and scrambled egg number that Jonnathan Ireland was raving about. I mean, who doesn’t love a meal with a backstory? But hey, watch out for the old boys behind the counter – they’re apparently the deli grumps of the neighborhood. One encounter with the warted one, and you’ll think twice about asking for extra salami.

The atmosphere is friendly enough, thanks to staff that actually seem to care. But with limited seating, it’s more of a grab-and-go kind of place. It’s got character, and the food is good, but bring hand sanitizer and maybe a good ol’ story to share while you munch on a fresh baguette. Just keep your distance from the warts, okay?
