Patisserie Valerie is the type of spot you hope is better than it sounds because, honestly, the mixed reviews are making me nervous. Sure, the staff can be friendly and the pastries look tempting, but then you hear horror stories like the fly in someone's hot chocolate. Yikes. Baha gets high marks for being personable, but that’s not enough to save your meal if it’s a disaster.
You might find a decent breakfast or some tasty cakes if luck is on your side, but I'd say approach with caution. The decor is lovely, but they really need to tighten up their food game. It’s all about consistency here, and right now, it feels like a gamble whether you leave happy or just… disappointed.
