Rainbow Bakery And Cafe is the friendly neighborhood café with a split personality. One moment you’re in cake heaven, and the next, you’re regretting your life choices. The reviews sing praises for their quiches and pasties, but don’t hold your breath for a decent breakfast. S R was left in tears over the lack of beans and smoky environment, while Tanya Heath was let down by overcooked eggs that tasted like they’d been kissed by grease. You love the vibe; you just wish the kitchen could get its act together. It’s a roll of the dice, but at least the staff are nice.
