Akara is where you go if you’re in the mood to explore some West African flavors, and it’s a solid choice with a 5-star hygiene rating. Swely came here for her birthday and had the time of her life, with the Jollof rice and beef skewers stealing the show. Olivia loved the private dining experience, and it sounds like the staff really know how to treat their guests right.
However, not everyone is singing praises — Sara had a less glamorous experience with the Lagos chicken, which left her feeling a bit dry and underwhelmed. Still, for the most part, it seems like this place can dish out some serious flavor bombs, especially if you’re in a sharing mood. Just know to steer clear of the dry stuff. 🌍
