Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Bar 31 is like that friend who always throws parties but never cleans their bathroom. The views? Stunning. The food? Decent, but don’t expect fireworks. I mean, the Peter Pan Afternoon Tea looks cute and all — especially with the ‘delicate’ pastries — but it's like a Disney movie where you realize the plot is just a bit thin. Rainy T. Alaaeddin had a ball celebrating their birthday solo, and who wouldn’t with a view like that? Just remember, you might leave with a sweet tooth and a slight dent in your wallet.
Sure, it’s clean as a whistle, which is great, but when the staff are serving up a ‘meh’ chicken terrine and you’re left with a wine menu you didn’t ask for, it’s hard to sing its praises. Vanessa Robinson had it right: lovely views, but the service could use a kick in the rear. So, if you want a nice backdrop for your Instagram, go for it. Just don’t expect to be wowed by the food. ⛽
