El Vino London Bridge is that wine bar where you can pretend to be classy while sipping a glass of something that costs more than your lunch. It’s a bit noisy, but hey, isn’t that part of the vibe? The staff know their stuff and are happy to let you sample a few wines, which is a nice touch for those of us who can’t tell a Merlot from a Malbec. Adrian Everest enjoyed the ambience and friendly service, which is essential in a place that prides itself on being social.
The food is decent enough, with a charcuterie board that’s as Instagrammable as it is tasty. But if you’re hoping for a quiet chat with friends, you might want to bring earplugs. Overall, it’s a good spot for a casual evening out or a catch-up, but not for a serious gourmet experience. Think of it as a slightly fancy pub without the pretentiousness.
