Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Flotsam and Jetsam is the go-to spot if you're in Dulwich and need a caffeine fix before taking in some art. Felicity loved the eggs Benedict, while Mervyn praised Scott's Chorizo Scramble for hitting all the right spots. The staff are like the friendly baristas you wish you had at home, making it a solid choice for a casual lunch. But if you come here expecting a quick meal, be ready to embrace some waiting time. The locals might be flocking here, and some seem to think it’s a bit pricey for what you get, but at least the coffee is top-notch. If the aroma of fresh brews and chatter sounds like your jam, give it a go.
However, not everyone is convinced it's worth the hype. While Zubair enjoyed a refreshing iced latte, Tanya's avocado on sourdough left her yearning for more. With a mix of gushing praise and mild discontent, it seems Flotsam and Jetsam is like that decent friend who occasionally lets you down but is still part of the group.
"I had a delicious eggs Benedict cooked to perfection"
"Both really tasty and hit the spot"
"Probably the best mocha I've had anywhere in London"
