Hagen Espresso Bars is one of those trendy coffee spots that looks great on Instagram but delivers an average experience overall. Sure, the hygiene is spot on at 5/5, and Daphne raves about their espresso as one of the best in London. But you might hit a snag like Nataliia did with the music being more 'vibe killer' than 'vibe enhancer'. Plus, some baristas might not even make eye contact while serving your coffee.
The coffee is decent, and it’s well-located near Borough Market, so if you’re in the area, it’s worth a pop in. But if you’re seeking a cozy atmosphere to relax and work, you better hope they’re not blasting rap music while you’re trying to enjoy your oat flat white. It’s a solid spot but could use some tweaks to take it to the next level.
