Mamas cafe snack bar is the kind of spot you stumble into early in the morning, and thank your lucky stars you did. Luke found his way in and left raving about the cappuccino and ham and cheese toastie, while tigger was on cloud nine with the fully loaded English breakfast. The owner’s a top bloke, making everyone feel at home.
But it’s not all sunshine and smiles—Yifan had a meltdown over a disappointing Sri Lankan roti that took way too long and left him feeling short-changed. Still, if you’re after a comforting breakfast in Waterloo, Mamas could be your new morning ritual.
