Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Tasty African Food is like that awkward first date that surprises you in the best way. Michele Palmieri and R R both came out raving about generous portions and a spotless restaurant. But then you have Perfect Routines, who had a less-than-stellar experience due to a bit of a service slip that left them waiting like a sad puppy for their dinner. Adebola Ruth found a decent Suya, while Emem was over the moon with the fresh flavors, calling it one of the best African meals ever.
However, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Benjamin Olugbade's experience was a tragic act of food horror, claiming sand in his beans. And don’t even get me started on The Invisible Motivator's meat pie debacle—if that’s their idea of pastry, I’d rather have a Greggs pasty any day. Overall, Tasty African Food has its moments but be prepared for a bit of a lottery when it comes to the service and the food.
"The experience was incredibly surprising because all really good foods."
"SPOTLESS!! Store; Friendly attentive staff; Fantastic food."
"Customer service is poor, I mean very poor and rude."
