The Genuine Dining Company is the sibling restaurant to the one at News UK, and guess what? It’s got the same 5-star hygiene rating and the same level of culinary excitement. Walk in and you'll be greeted by the same beige decor and uninspiring menu that feels like it was designed by someone who’s never been outside their office.
The dishes are as thrilling as a Tuesday afternoon meeting, and just like at its counterpart, the staff are friendly enough to make you feel slightly less bored while you wait for your dry sandwich. If you’re just looking to fill your belly without too much fuss, this might be your jam. But if you’re after a memorable meal, you’ll want to look elsewhere – this is not the place for culinary adventures.
