Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Cafe Max feels like that throwback spot you hit for breakfast when you need a greasy fix before a long day. With solid reviews showering praises for their baps and rolls, itβs a safe option for early risers. Youβll be served with a smile, and the burgers pack a decent punch without leaving you thirsting for more.
However, itβs not all sunshine and roses. The occasional rubbery cheese in a tuna toastie and below-par drinks have the potential to ruin your brunch vibe. Itβs a mixed bag. If you're lucky, you might just hit the jackpot with a lovely breakfast. But if youβre like me, you could end up wondering if youβve made a tactical error.
