Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Havisham's is like that overhyped friend who shows up looking fabulous but then serves you instant noodles. Sure, the avocado toast is decent enough, but it’s not winning any Michelin stars here. The cozy atmosphere is a plus, and the homemade cakes might just be the real star of the show — if only the rest of the food could keep up.
The service is hit or miss; you might find a lovely waitress with great hair or someone who thinks they’re auditioning for a reality show. And while some loved the food, others were left feeling like they paid too much for a basic experience. If you’re in the area, it’s a cute stop, but don’t expect culinary fireworks.
"The selection of homemade cakes were beautiful."
"Had a fabulous avocado on toast with extra crispy bacon as asked."
"What a delight this little cafe is."
