Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers but not exactly a culinary destination. With free parking and a peaceful vibe, Mickey Dryden enjoyed the walking experience, appreciating the historical structures. David Lovegrove found a nice little park for a leisurely stroll too. Plenty of trails and informative boards make it a decent spot for a picnic, though I wouldn’t plan a Michelin meal here.
The reviews are all about the serene environment, but if you’re after food, it seems you’re better off packing your own picnic. A great place to unwind, just leave your fancy dining dreams at home.
