The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Coopers Cafe And Takeaway is that classic chippy experience, but is it a bit overrated? Steven Bryant swears by their fish and chips with curry sauce, calling it 'amazing.' His granddaughter even claimed the curry sauce was better than what she gets back home in Wales. But not everyone’s singing praises—Charlie Sedgman had a rough time with a 30-minute wait for drinks, and it sounds like Marie Davies had a real fishy situation with her triangle-shaped fish. Sounds like they might be trying to innovate in ways that shouldn't be tried.
While the atmosphere is reportedly friendly and inviting, it’s a mixed bag when it comes to the food. So if you’re not in the mood for a gamble, maybe stick to the classics and hope your order doesn’t come out looking like a Picasso.
