Costa Coffee is the kind of chain café that meets all your expectations but doesn’t really exceed them. Great for a quick stop after shopping, sure, but be prepared for some service that varies from friendly to downright miserable. The drinks are decent, with a notable hot chocolate to sip on—but good luck if you’re in a rush because service can be slower than a snail on a treadmill.
It’s clean, it’s cozy, and they offer vegan options, which is cool. Just don’t expect the baristas to win any 'employee of the month' awards anytime soon. If you want a reliable coffee fix without any frills, this is your place. But if you’re after a warm experience along with your drink, you might want to manage those expectations.
