Clovelly Cafe And Bar is a mixed bag that feels like it’s trying to be the scenic spot you want to love, but it often misses the mark. The location is stunning, and you can’t deny that the freshly made waffles are heavenly—if you can catch them at the right time. But as several reviewers point out, service can be hit or miss, and dealing with fruit flies is definitely not on your wishlist for a relaxing meal.
The experience swings from charming to frustrating quicker than you can say 'fisherman’s cottage.' Sure, the staff can be friendly, and the views are breathtaking, but if you're served by an unengaged crew, you might just want to pack up and head elsewhere. It can be a lovely stop before or after exploring the village, but just keep your expectations in check.
